Here is a featured PICPA member spotlight article on a CPA's Entrepreneurial Spirit and how it led her on a mission to start her own business

I was initially nervous to be a Company Advisor to a class full of students who would look to me for guidance.... However, this feeling quickly went away after the first day as everyone made me feel like I was part of the PFEW family.

Company advisors get a front row seat to this amazing transformation in the youth of PA and the chance to give back to the community.

PFEW made it possible for me to pursue my passions in business and service.

PFEW's business and life lessons don't apply to just high schoolers; it applies to everybody.

Simply put, there are a hundred different reasons that I choose to volunteer a week at PFEW, and collectively they give me energy and experience that enables me to be a stronger leader and a better individual in my role at my job and in life.

Pat first came to PFEW as a Speaker, knowing very little about the program. So impressed was she with what she saw that first year, she has been coming back and devoting a week of her summer as a Company Advisor ever since.

Chuck Baker is a retired Supply Chain MDP Coordinator at Michelin North America, first volunteering at PFEW in 1999.

PFEW planted the seed of entrepreneurship, and I began to realize that I could combine my love of English and writing (my passion) with a business as an entrepreneur.
