In 1992, Met-Ed/FirstEnergy, offered Dave the opportunity to be a Company Advisor and sponsored him for two years. The company viewed PFEW as an important part of its leadership training. After serving those two years, he promised himself that he would come back some day. Family, work and pursuit of his MBA kept him away until 2001. As has happened to many Advisors, he rejoined the PFEW "family" as a volunteer with all of the sacrifice that comes with spending a week away from home. When asked what he has learned from his PFEW experience, Dave said, "My week with these folks re-invigorates me. I go home every year with a new view of the world and ready to take on the challenges of a new year. And, I can't wait to come back the following year!" Dave's hobbies include reading, particularly historical fiction and traveling. He plans to visit every major National Park in the United States. His favorite color is Blue and his favorite food is Italian stating…"What could you not love about Italian food?"
